Since our founding in 1992, Kitchen Angels has responded to the urgent needs of those in our community who have been overlooked by traditional service providers. Kitchen Angels serves those under the age of 60 who are living with a chronic or terminal illness, the elderly in severe medical crisis, and dependents (under the age of 12) of single parent clients. Our clients are homebound and experiencing a medical or health crisis due to disease, accident, surgery or hospitalization. Many of our clients are among our community's most vulnerable members.
The Kitchen Angels meal program is designed to meet the unique nutritional needs and special dietary requirements of each of our clients. For the majority of our clients, preparing their own meals is no longer an option and doing their own grocery shopping is an impossible task.
Knowing that they can depend on Kitchen Angels for their meals allows many to remain in the comfort of their homes, and to enjoy the experience of independence and dignity, even as they face life-threatening conditions.
